I've been bangin out a ton of dope tribal and techno tracks in my sets lately. This one breaks up the drums a bit with a very sultry and deep melody. "Psuedo" will totally lose the dancefloor if not used carefully. It will, however, create complete ecstasy if used at just the right time. MMMMMMMMM.

Girl Unit “IRL”
It's labeled techno on Beatport, but this sound has dubstep written all over it. But really, who cares what it's called? I'm fascinated with "IRL" - I haven't heard anything like it before. Simply Amazing!

Francisco Allendes & Felipe Venegas “Espiritu” – Alexi Delano Remix
Alexi Delano is playing in Houston this Saturday, June 12, 2010 @ the ever consistent Rekliner party organized by Henry Chow & Sasha Braverman. This night will be very special for 2 big reasons:
1. Alexi Delano is awesome
2. This months' Rekliner party is at Houston's newest and coolest EDM club, FWD.
I heard Alexi at this years' WMC in the techno loft @ Space. He was spectacular! That being said, I'm bummed I'll be missing this show (gig in San Antonio Saturday).
Alexi's remix of "Espiritu" has been one of my top "go to" tracks of the year. It was released in January, and although he's released a bag of EP's and remixes since then that I play, this one is simply amazing.

Chris Lattner “Sick”
I'm a bit late on catching this one...Chris Lattner's "Sick" was released in January. Doesn't that seems like so long ago? Holy chihuahas, maybe time really is moving faster hahaha.
When I see the word sick in a track title, I still think about Solid Groove "This is Sick" (Switch Remix). (Switch, aka Dave Taylor, aka Solid Groove, aka BadASS MOFO)
I'm diggin "Sick" more and more each time I play it - the sure sign of a lasting relationship. Although it's tracky and might even sound boring on your computer speakers, the bass and chord stabs are sickkkk. No bueno for a small room - hello big room.
