DJ Spiller “(Groovejet) When The Beats”
I'm taking you back about 10 years with DJ Spiller "(Groovejet) When The Beats". The first time I heard this I was living in London in 2000. My favorite party at that time was a Sunday night @ the legendary club, The Cross. It as my favorite night for a few reasons:
1. Great acoustics and great sound
2. Amazing DJ's!
3. Really fun crowd.
The Cross is no longer around, but maaaaaan, I had several spiritual/dancing experiences there. I forget the name of the Sunday nite party, but it was all Italian. Italian DJ's playing the best deep-techy stuff (and of course the occasional funky tune like this one for good measure), Italian promoters and lot's of Italian women. Yesssss.

Tensnake “In the End (I Want You to Cry)”
Some trax sound better each time I hear them. This is one of 'em. It's so cool how I have been noticing new things in this track, such as the odd male vocal that chimes in before the first break. Also, the counter melody is so wobbly and strange and at the same time it fits perfectly. Not to mention THE BELLS and triangles make the high end sound so thick and magical. Well done Tensnake.
