Kaiserdisco “Carambolo”
My favorite artist of the past 6 months or so is Kaiserdisco. By far! Frederic and Patrick from Hamburg make the duo, and the duo is bangin drum-heavy, techno sounding, dancefloor shakin', I can't stop dancing music.

Girl Unit “IRL”
It's labeled techno on Beatport, but this sound has dubstep written all over it. But really, who cares what it's called? I'm fascinated with "IRL" - I haven't heard anything like it before. Simply Amazing!

Francisco Allendes & Felipe Venegas “Espiritu” – Alexi Delano Remix
Alexi Delano is playing in Houston this Saturday, June 12, 2010 @ the ever consistent Rekliner party organized by Henry Chow & Sasha Braverman. This night will be very special for 2 big reasons:
1. Alexi Delano is awesome
2. This months' Rekliner party is at Houston's newest and coolest EDM club, FWD.
I heard Alexi at this years' WMC in the techno loft @ Space. He was spectacular! That being said, I'm bummed I'll be missing this show (gig in San Antonio Saturday).
Alexi's remix of "Espiritu" has been one of my top "go to" tracks of the year. It was released in January, and although he's released a bag of EP's and remixes since then that I play, this one is simply amazing.

Tim Roscoe “Gossips”
Oh boy, this one is slammin. I wanna call it funky techno, but it's really not funky. There is something special about this track that's hard to put into words. I do know this, "Gossips" is gonna work like a charm on the dancefloor. Here I come San Antonio, this Friday is gonna be NUTZ.
Tim Roscoe (http://timroscoe.nl) is from the Netherlands and appears to be a new producer. I'm very excited to hear what he turns out next.

Deepchild “Fire” (Autodeep Remix)
The title of this track makes sense, as I think this one is FIRE. Deepchild is a German on a mission...he's deep, he's techy, he's techno. Autodeep's remix of "Fire" is a slice of pure heaven...and after reading their bio, I bet these guys are killer DJ's. DJ's that will take us on a journey.

Hot City “Hot City Bass”
This is 90's rave music to the max - I love it. Hot City is from the UK, and they're on myspace - other than that I don't see much from them online. I dropped this last week at Rich's (Houston) on the main floor and it was an awesome few minutes.

Matthew Dear & Seth Troxler “Hurt”
I've never quite understood all the hype around Matthew Dear. In my opinion, the San Antonio native generally makes very strange sounding music that I can't imaging playing for the dancefloor (minus a record or two from 2004-2005). That being said, I'm very happy with "Hurt"! My techno buddies have been creating a buzz around Seth Troxler and now I see why so many people are saying "Troxler FTW". This cut is moody, chunky, and has the illest tom's I've heard in years.
